Local Paragraphs

Mr. J.H. Adams, of Daviston, was in town Tuesday on business.  While syrup-
making Mr. Adams thought of the editor and when leaving home for town put a 
bottle of his syrup in his buggy for us.  We have never seen or eaten any that 
was better.  It was both beautiful and delightfully toothsome.  Mr. Adams says 
he will make for himself and his neighbors about a thousand gallons.  He is one 
of the best farmers in the county who raises big crops of other things besides 
cotton.
