Mr. Carroll and his family left home early in the morning to visit and neighbor and he had not been absent long before his house was discovered by a negro man to be on fire, but was unable to save either building or contents. Mr. Carroll is a gentleman who has a large family and was apparently in good circumstances, but when he returned home he found his little all gone. We hope the people will contribute liberally to his relief. – Butler Herald File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/newspapers/nw1789residenc.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
