Local Paragraphs

The residence of Mr. Thomas J. Lawhorn, on the Stevens place near Cedar Creek, 
was destroyed by fire with all of its contents on Saturday afternoon August 
30.  All members of the family were away from home at the time of the fire and 
nothing was saved frm the house; the cause is unknown. – Butler Herald
