In Honor of Miss Trawick

During the Christmas holidays Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Trawick entertained at a 
Yuletide dinner in honor of their daughter, Miss Marie Trawick, a popular 
student of Brenau College.

Mrs. Trawick, Miss Marie Trawick and Miss Rosebud Dillingham received the 
guests.  Miss Trawick and Miss Dillingham wore dainty lingerie dresses and Mrs. 
Trawick wore a handsome red velvet.

The porch and walk were lined on either side by holly trees, on the branches of 
which were hung red and green Japanese lanterns and sprigs of mistletoe.

The whole lower floor was tastefully decorated in holly and mistletoe and red 
and green ribbons were suspended from the ceiling in the dining room and 
attached below to artistic placecards, which bore an original rhyme composed 
for each individual guest.

Mrs. J.G. Hill, Mrs. C.B. Marshall, Mrs. Jennie Gray Draughon, and Mrs. C.H. 
Neisler assisted Mrs. Trawick.

At eight o’clock a sumptuous feast was served after which Yuletide, games, 
music and songs were indulged in until a late hour.

Those invited were: Misses Marie Trawick, Rosebud Dillingham, Eula May 
Caldwell, Mae Powell, Mary Lou Aultman, Nellie McDaniel, Bonnie Newsome, Leila 
Whatley, Ruth Blackman, Jennie McAuley, Nita Matthews, Olive Saunders, Mary 
Joiner, Minnie McDowell, Virginia Hinton, Mera Gober, Hattie Jones, Eva B. 
Griffith, Marguerite Montfort and Rosmande Neisler; Mrs. C.B. Marshall, Mrs. 
J.G. Hill, Mrs. Jennie Gray Draughon and Mrs. C.H. Neisler.  Messrs. S.H. 
Bryan, O.S. Draughon, J.M. Weaver, Emmett Crawford, Walton Hodges, Eric Newsom, 
Ben Kilby, Paul Trawick, Emory Seay, Jack Payne, Dan Payne, Hugh Sealy, Howard 
Neisler, Thurmond Whatley, Elam Griffith, Roderick Dugger, Joe Hudson, Eugene 
Joiner, Colonel C.B. Marshall and Dudley Trawick.
