Newsome entertained the young people of Reynolds in honor of her sister, Miss Fannie Mae Crawford who is at home for the holidays from the G.N.I. College. The house was decorated with holly and when the young people had gathered it presented quite a festive appearance. Trail and 42 were the games of the evening, after which all tables and chairs were pushed back and the young folks seated themselves on the floor around the fire. Each was given an Xmas stocking filled with fruit, nuts and candies and as they ate they told jokes and stories. Prizes were awarded to Miss Nita Mathews and Mr. Ben Kilby for telling the two best stories. Those present were: Misses Bonnie Newsome, Willie Mae Wright of Macon, Marie Trawick, Mae Powell, Nita Mathews, Ruth Blackmon and Fannie Mae Crawford. Messrs. Walton Hodges, Ben Kilby, Dr. S.H.
