Searcy. Mr. Searcy was a resident of this county for many years, and by his genial disposition was genuinely admired by everybody. After years of successful teaching in South Georgia Prof. Searcy was last year elected to the office of County School Superintendent of Thomas County, and now resides at Thomasville. Accompanying him on his visit to this and Talbot County, the home of his boyhood, is Mrs. Searcy who is paying her first visit here in many years.
