Williams Appointed Postmaster at Howard Mr. J.R. Adams, who for many years has held the office of postmaster at Howard, and conducted the same in a very satisfactory manner to all the patrons, has resigned. Infirmities incident to old age is the reason assigned for his resignation. Mr. J.R. Williams has been appointed to fill the vacancy, his term of office having begun on March first. Owing to his new duties Mr. Williams will resign the office of Justice of the Peace and an election to fill said vacancy will be called.
