Fickling are entertaining a fine and select party of friends with a house party at the old Fickling homestead eight miles north of Butler, which has been remodeled and greatly improved, converted into an ideal summer home for this popular couple and their friends. Those fortunate to be included in the party are: Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Wright, of Roberta, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Peagler and children, Misses Sara Montfort, Sallie Wilson, Helen Gray, Susie Fowler and Miss Marie Renfroe, of Macon; Messrs. M.A. Cameron, Gray Windham, E.A. Childers, Otis Montfort, Dr. and Mrs. G.W. Fickling and son, William Fickling. Fishing, bathing, boat riding, and incidently courting, and other familiar and pleasant forms of entertainment will constitute the program of amusement until Friday when those in attendance will return home.
