Amos Was Sudden Was Preparing the Morning Meal for Her Family When End Came Friday The death of Mrs. Ola Smith Amos age thirty-two years wife of Mr. George T. Amos, which occurred early Friday morning at her home near Wesley church was a great shock to the community in which she lived. That she passed away suddenly and without struggle was apparent from the fact that she was engaged in preparing breakfast for her family when the end came her lifeless form being found near the stove by her husband. Except for the fact that she complained the night before of slight heart trouble Mrs. Amos was in her usual apparent good health up to the hour of her death. Six years of happy wedded life were those enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Amos, and of this union there is one son, 9 months of age to be deprived of a mother’s love. Mrs. Amos was a Miss Smith of Crawford County before her marriage. The grief-stricken husband has the sincere sympathy of his many friends in this time of saddest bereavement. Saturday morning amid the tears of those who loved her, Mrs. Amos was laid to rest in the cemetery at Wesley church where impressive funeral services were conducted by Revs. J.P. Chatfield and L.A. Harrell. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/obits/a/amos7511ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
