Albritton, 65, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church with Elder C.L. Waldrip and Elder Bentley Adams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Albritton died Wednesday morning at the Montezuma Hospital. He was a native of Taylor County. He was born the son of James B. and Lucy Watson Albritton. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Lula Mae Hanner, Ft. Valley; Mrs. Mary Frances Burkett, Thomaston; Mrs. Laura Bartlett, Macon; Mrs. Lozia Dee Moulton, Atlanta; five sons, Roscoe Albritton, Reynolds; Otha Lee Albritton,Warner Robins; Bobbie Albritton, Ft. Valley; 31 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Otis Albritton, Thomaston; Jessie Albritton and Charlie Albritton, Butler; John Albritton, Ideal; one sister, Mrs. Eula Brewer, Ellaville. Albritton Robert R Albritton, lifetime resident of Taylor County, died at the Montezuma Hospital on Wed., Sept. 12, after an illness of about five weeks. He had been in declining health for several years. Funeral services were held at the Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Clyde L. Waldrof, pastor of the church, officiating, assisted by the Elder Bentley Adams, at 3:30p.m., Thursday. Interment was in the Prosperity Cemetery. Born in Taylor County, Dec.19, 1896, the son of the late James B. and Lucy Watson Albritton, he was married to the former Hattie Wisham. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers were: Thomas Massey, Julian Mott, W.C. Shehee, Herbert Shehee, David Theus, and R.L. Garret. Edwards Funeral Home was in charge of arrrangements. Surviving Mr. Albritton are: his wife; 4 daughters, Mrs Lula Mae Hanner, of Fort Valley, Mrs. Mary Frances Burkett, Thomaston, Mrs Laura Bartlett, Macon and Mrs. Lozie Dee Moulton, Atlanta; 5 sons, Roscoe Rulpert, J.B., Butler, Halton, Reynolds, Otha, Lee,Warner Robins, Bobby, Fort Valley; 31 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; 4 brothers, Otis, Thomaston, John, Ideal, Jesse and Charlie of Butler;1 sister, Mrs. Eula Brewer, Ellaville.
