Albritton BUTLER, Ga.- Charlie C. Albritton, 83, of Butler, died Friday at a nursing home in Marshallville. The Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at the Faith Baptist Church, with burial in the Prosperity Cemetery, Rupert, according to Edwards Funeral Home here. Mr. Albritton was born November 10, 1889, a son of the late Bert and Lou Watson Albritton. He had lived in Taylor County all of his life and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. L.R.Bowen, Cordele, Mrs. Stanley Joiner and Mrs. Wilbon Spears, both of Fort Valley, Mrs Ione Pitts, Thomaston, Mrs. Sanford Carpenter and Mrs. Vera Carpenter, both of Rupert; five sons, J.C.Albritton , Cordele, Wilcher Albritton, Dublin, Jack Albritton, Fort Valley and A.V. Albritton and Clinton Albritton, both of Butler. Note: Charlie Crisp Albritton passed away on December 22, 1972. His widow, Thessie Wisham Albritton preceded him in death.
