Miss Sallie Lou Averett Succumbs to Brief Illness

Just before going to press news is recieved of the death at Howard yesterday of Miss Sallie Lou Averett following an illness of only ten days. She was born in this county July 12, 1880, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Averett. She is survived by two sisters Mrs. W.M. Brown and Mrs. W.H. Martin.

Funeral at Howard this morning at 11:00 conducted by Rev. C.W. Hancock

Note: Sallie Lou Averett's mother was Permillia Ann Layfield.
