Bickley, was born September 14, 1884, and went to rest July 30, 1918, being thirty-three years of age. It was so hard to give our precious brother up, but God knows best. Oh, how he is missed in our home, and so hard to think that all of us will never be able to gather again at his father’s old home on this earth. He was a faithful husband, a true son, a precious brother and kind and good to his friends. Paul bore his sickness without a murmur and told us that it was all for the best. He had never united with any church but we feel that he has gone home with mama and with God’s help, we expect to try to meet them where tears and sorrow are no more. May God’s richest blessings rest on his precious baby boy and make him a joy and comfort to his heart-broken mother. The funeral and interment occurred at Union church cemetery, the service being conducted by Rev. L.A. Harrell. He leaves a wife, one child, a father, three sisters, two brothers, besides a number of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. Written by two who loved him dearly.
