Brown, Howard While the news of the passing of our greatly esteemed friend, and one of the county’s most highly prized citizens, Mr. J. Waller Brown, of Howard, is the source of genuine sorrow to the editor of this paper, the transmission of the news reached our ears only yesterday. It is with much sorrow we have to part with our friend, but we would emulate his virtues and bow in humble submission to the power of one who “Doeth all things well.” Card of Thanks Editor Butler Herald: We ask permission through your columns to express to the people in and around Howard, our sincere thanks for their unparalleled kindness to and sympathy for our beloved husband and father, while on his bed of affliction. The memory of their untiring efforts to render every assistance to cheer and to comfort, has caused us to revere them above all others, and sweeten the cup otherwise so bitter. Our lasting gratitude goes out to all, which words are inadequate to express, and while we can never repay them for their goodness in ministering to our sick one and comforting us, in our distress, we will ever hold them in loving remembrance and pray God to bless them. May the declining sun of each grow brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. Most respectfully, Mrs. J.W. Brown and children Howard, Ga., October 3rd, 1916 File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/obits/b/brown7043ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
