Such is the case in what seems with us though not with God the premature death of little Reba. This sweet, lovable little girl, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evans Brown, was permitted to brighten her parents happy home for only five short years. She was sick for about ten days having a very severe case of tonsillitis and contracting influenza before she regained her strength. All that loved ones, physician, and friends could do was of no avail. Her little spirit took its flight Saturday afternoon, November 23, about four o’clock. Besides father and mother she leaves three sisters, Mildred, Ludie and Jeanette Brown and a number of other relatives to look forward to that family reunion in the heavenly home into which she has entered. Her remains were tenderly laid to rest in the cemetery here Sunday afternoon, funeral services being conducted by Rev. Fuller, pastor of the Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church. We extend to the bereaved family and loved ones our deepest sympathy.
