Sallie Mae callier, 94, of mauk, Georgia died Thursday, december 17, 1998 at 
the Marion Memorial Nursing Home in Buena Vista, georgia.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine level 
United Methodist Church with burial in Pine Level Cemetery, Taylor County, 
Georgia.  Rev. Jim Meyers officiated. 

Mrs. callier was born August 4, 1904 in taylor County, the daughter of the 
late Lou and Charles Hayes.  She had lived most of her life in Marion County 
and was a member of Pine Level United methodist Church.

She was the widow of Frank Callier.  Survivors include one son, Clarence 
Callier of Columbus, GA; three daughters Joyce Turner and Ann Watson, both of 
Buena Vista, GA; Lilton Rigsby of Centre, AL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.  Mrs. Callier was preceeded in death by a daughter, Lillian 
Bassett and a son William Callier.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements, with Tracy 
Watson, Edmond Bassett, Keith callier, Paul Callier, Frankie Callier and Brian 
Watson as pallbearers.
