Mrs. J J Carson, Reynolds

Reynolds, Ga., October 29. (Special) This community was shocked this morning 
by the death of Mrs. J J Carson, at the family residence, six miles out.  The 
interment was in the Carson buying grounds.  Before her marriage she was Miss 
Lula Ricks, a daughter of the late I J Ricks, and a sister of Messrs. William 
T. and Ferdinand A. Ricks, and of Mrs. E W Cook, all of Reynolds.  She is also 
survived by her mother.   Her immediate family left to mourn her loss is her 
husband, Mrs. (sic)  J J Carson, the most extensive planter of this section, 
and five boys, two of whom, F M and Ricks Carson, are students at Mercer.

She was b. 26 Jan 1863, married Joseph Jefferson Carson 4 Mar 1891 Taylor Co., 
GA.
