In Memory

On last Wednesday evening at 5:55 o’clock August 6th, the death angel visited
the home of Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Jones, of Waynesboro, Georgia and summoned Miss
Bashie Carter to the great high throne of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She had been a patient sufferer for many months and bore her suffering with
patience and resignation waiting and trusting in her Lord to deliver her.

She led a Christian life being a member of the Reynolds Methodist church for
over 40 years.  We miss her, but our loss is her gain, and God doeth all things
well.  She leaves several nephews and nieces besides other relatives and friends
to mourn her departure.  She was in her 73rd year and her remains were laid to
rest Thursday afternoon in the family burying ground.  There were many sorrowing
friends and loved ones who followed her remains to her last resting place.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.H. Allen, her pastor.
