Calhoun, in Brunswick, Thursday morning, was conducted here Friday at 11:30 o'clock from the residence of her niece, Mrs. J.D. Beall. Rev. M.O. Williams conducted the services with interment in the Hill Crest cemetery. Messrs. T.D. Seay, Clarence Seay, C.H. Neisler, Albert Hicks, and Albert Carter served as pall bearers. Miss Mattie Christopher, who had recently passed her eighteenth birthday had spent the most of her useful life in Reynolds, where she was universally beloved by all who knew her, she was the daughter of the late Dr. W.H. and Mrs. Ann King Christopher, pioneer citizens of this community. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. J.C. Calhoun, of Brunswick, and a brother, Mr. O. E. Christopher, of Richmond, Va. and a number of nieces and nephews.
