Say not the story of her life is ended, for it has only begun in sweet fields of Eden. Maudie was a true Christian woman, uniting with the Missionary Baptist church at the early age of twelve years. In early womanhood she was united in marriage to Mr. Lee Daniel. To them was born one child who was named Ruby. After marriage she joined the Freewill Baptist church to be with her husband. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Greene; four sisters, viz.: Mrs. F.E. Daniel, Mrs. Nannie Mae Rumph, Misses Kathleen and Lucy Greene; a husband and one child; and a host of friends and relatives. Let us weep not, dear ones, for we know that she is waiting for us at the pearly gates. Let us strive to meet her there where there will be no more goodbyes and no farewell tears to shed.
