L.A. Harrell. Mr. Eubanks was about 45 years of age, a former citizen of this county and brother of Mrs. E.H. Payne of Butler. His death occurred Sunday night at his home near Slocumb, Ala., following a short illness from pneumonia. Besides the wife, Mrs. Sallie Newman Eubanks, Mr. Eubanks is survived by four daughters and three sons, several of these, it is reported, are in a precarious condition from the great malady, influenza, and were unable to attend the funeral. Mr. Eubanks was a good citizen and an industrious farmer. Those who knew him best appreciated him most and his passing is sincerely regretted. The tenderest sympathy of many loved ones and friends are extended the family in this their great loss.
