Eubanks and took their baby, Carrie Maud. Her stay on earth was short. She was nine months old; butlong enough for them to learn to love and their hearts had become entwined with her love that it was hard to see her suffer as she did for five days. With the assistance of two physicians all was done that could be to no avail, and to stand by and see her little life ebb away was so hard. But Christ said: “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the kingdom of heaven.” So now dear father and mother dry your tears and look not to the tomb for your darling for God has prepared a home for her and has taken her to it. No doubt she will be at the pearly gate with the throng of loved ones to welcome you home when your stay on earth is done. God doeth all things well and for our good. There is a tie stronger than ever to bind you to the glory world. Written by her auntie, Mrs. E.H.
