Garrett, a prominent farmer living five miles west of Butler, was a distinct shock to her many relatives and friends. After spending most of the day at the home of and ministering unto the needs of sick neighbors Mrs. Garrett returned to her home late yesterday afternoon when she was stricken with paralysis and died suddenly. She was about fifty years of age and besides her husband is survived by eight children. Funeral and interment will take place this afternoon at Bethel church and cemetery.
