Woodall, at Mauk. Mr. Woodall had been sick about two weeks, and all that physicians and loved ones could do was in vain. His Master called and he was ready to go, “enter into the joy of his Lord”, who had guided and led him through to a ripe old age, being in his 88th year. In this death Taylor County loses one of her oldest and best beloved citizens, his wife, a devoted husband, and children a loving father. May the God that led him lead them to a happy reunion beyond this vale of sorrow. He was a devout member of the Primitive Baptist church and was true to the faith in which he believed. It is the writer’s pleasure to have known Mr. Woodall since childhood; his youngest daughter, Sallie, now Mrs. Henry Jordan, of Pavo, Ga. and I being intimate schoolmates and closely associated during our girlhood days. I visited his home many times and always found a hearty welcome, as he was always doing something to make the children enjoy themselves. He leaves a brokenhearted wife, two sons, five daughters, several grandchildren and numbers of friends to mourn his death. His remains were laid to rest in Mt. Nebo cemetery Sunday afternoon, funeral services being conducted by Elder Roberts. Card of Thanks We wish to thank our kind neighbors and friends for their kindness during the illness and death of our beloved father and may God richest blessings be shared among each and everyone.
