James Hays, at the residence of the latter in this place. Poor little boy he had suffered long and patiently, but he has gone to the bosom of his Savior whom he loved so dearly while on earth. The last hour he was permitted to remain on earth was spent singing “let me to thy bosom fly” turning to his dear mother he said, “Mother, I am dying but let oh let me, fly to the bosom of my Savior”. To his mourning parents we tender our heart-felt sympathy, in this their second sad bereavement. His remains were interred in the graveyard near the campground on Monday morning last.
