A W Hicks, Reynolds

Reynolds, Ga., November 6 (Special) Aretus W. Hicks died at his plantation 
home near here.  MR. Hicks was in his eightieth year.  He is survived by his 
wife, who was Miss Mary Carson, and by his seven children, Mrs. P W Daniel, of 
Bartow, Fla.; Mr. D J Hicks, of Quitman, Ga.; Miss Kate Hicks, one of the 
teachers of the State Normal, at Athens; Mrs. W M Parker, of Chipley, Ga., and 
Mrs. C. L Pyron and Messrs. R A and J G Hicks, of Reynolds, Ga.  He was a 
brother of Dr. M J Hicks, of Kissimmee, Fla., and of Mr. L B Hicks, of 
Columbus, Ga.
