Death of Merchant Hobbs
 
Merchant Hobbs died at the home of his father J. B. Hobbs of
Columbus on Tuesday.  He was a little more than 29 years
old.  He is survived by his father, and 2 brothers, Ferney,
and Hershel Hobbs of Phoenix City, Alabama.  2 sisters, Mrs.
Ada Perkins, and Mrs. Ida Douglas of Butler.  4 half
sisters, Misses Clifford, Mattie, Zippa, and Clinton Hobbs,
all of Columbus.  He was buried at Howard.
 
 
Note: J. B. Hobbs was the son of Willis Hobbs of Taylor county.
