J. B. HILL CLAIMED BY DEATH TUESDAY At 8 o'clock Tuesday morning last, at his home near Rupert, death claimed Mr. J. B. Hill, one of the county's best known and highly esteemed men, and one of the community's best farmers. He was a man of most commanding personality and was a gentleman the people liked. Mr. Hill was 62 years of age a life-long resident of the county and a son of the late Mr. Wesley Hill. The funeral services, in charge of Rev. W. H. Emmerson, ovvurred at Prosperity Church Cemetery Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. The following were the pallbearers: Messrs J. M., E. L., M. V., H. D. and Vester Hill and Sira Lawhorn. Mr Hill is survived by his wife and the following children: Appie, Clara, J. M.. M. V., E. L., and H. D. Hill; also two brothers and one sister Messrs Monroe and Slaughter Hill and Mrs Samanthy Ray.
