              HILL
 
Joel Slaughter Hill, age 67, died at the home of his son
H. H. Hill, 227 D Street, Thursday, March 23rd, 1939.  He
is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Carrie Allmon, Rupert,
Ga,  Mrs. Iva White, Rupert, Ga,  Mrs Mentie Barnes,
Sylvester, Ga., and Mrs C. C. Allmon, Thomaston, Ga.

Four sons, H. H. Hill, Thomaston, Vester Hill, Rupert,
Ga, Lewis Hill, Butler, Ga., and Clyde Hill, Americus,
Ga., 1 sister  Mrs. Syntha Ray.  45 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday March 24th, 1939, at
Taylor County Prosperity Church.  Interment in adjoining
cemetery.  Rev. Rogers officiating.
