He had been very ill for quite a while but his ultimate recovery was not despaired of until a short time before his death. His remains were tenderly laid away in the Potterville cemetery Sunday at 10:00 o’clock a.m. The entire body of the Patriotic Sons of America had charge of the funeral arrangements. Rev. Mr. Emerson gave a very impressive talk touching upon the life, spiritually, of the deceased after which the Brotherhood concluded the services. Mr. Jones was a pious, upright citizen and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was a consistent member of the Baptist church here, a most loyal member of the Patriotic Sons of America. He leaves an aged mother, three sisters and two brothers to mourn his departure. To the loved ones we would say just be contented with the sweet and beautiful thought: Not long to wait; we will soon be reunited!
