     OTHA    JINKS


Ideal, GA--Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 19
in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Butler for Otha
Jinks, 62, of Ideal and formerly of Warner Robins, who
died March 16 at his residence.

Burial was in the church cemetery.  Elder Julian Asbell,
Elder Bentley Adams, and the Rev. Gene Ross officiated.

Jinks was a native of Taylor County and lived most of
his live in Ideal, with the exception of 26 years that he
lived in Warner Robins.

He was a retired sheet metal worker at Robins Air Force
Base and a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. 
He was an Army veteran of World WAr II and a former
prisioner of war in Germany for 20 months.  He was also a
member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Corine Daniel Jinks of Ideal;
a son, Sgt. Riley Jinks of Bamberg, West Germany; a
daughter, Ann Jinks of Atlanta; two brothers, Arthur
Jinks and Randol Jinks, both of Ideal; a grandson; four
stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma was in charge of
arrangements.
