Taylor COUNTY GA Jolly, Julia Barfield File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Angela Covington http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/taylor/obits/jolly.txt Funeral Held Monday for Mrs. Julia Jolly Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Barfield Jolly, widow of the late Homer Howell Jolly, were held in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Garden Valley, Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. T.L. Moody, pastor of the Northside Baptist Church of Warner Robins, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Alva Cauley. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Deacons of the Northside Church, A.I. Willis, Jr., W.E. Nobles, E.L. Coper, Bart Florence, and F.M. Wall served as pallbearers with Edwards Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jolly died in her home near Rupert late Thursday following a heart attack, according to Coroner J.C. Royal. Born in Macon County, daughter of the late Edward (Dink) and Amanda Barfield, Mrs. Jolly had been a resident of Taylor County about five years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen Crockett of Phenix City, Alabama, Mrs. Lois Harvey of Charing and Mrs. Mary Carpenter of Byron and one son T.H.
