Olive Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Lee King were held at Mt. Olive church at Taylor Mill Sunday afternoon. Rev. W. R. Lawhorn officiated. Interment was in Mt. Olive cemetery. Mrs. King was born August 12, 1870 the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Childree. She was married to Mr. John Allen King, of this county who preceded her in death by several years. Mrs. King who was a life-long resident of this county died at her home near Reynolds at ten o'clock last Saturday morning following a short illness. She was a member of the Baptist church. Pall bearers were: Messrs Tom Perkins, James Brown, Lee Posey, Clifford Moore, William Bartlett and Frank Peacock. Mrs. King is survived by two sons Messrs Allen and Horace King and two daughters, Miss Florence King and Mrs. Ben Curtis.
