Death of Little Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.H. King

Sympathies are extended to Mr. M.H. King, former cashier of the Bank of Mauk,
but now of Woodland and his estimable wife in the death of their little daughter
and only child, which occurred last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. King’s sister
at Bailey where they had gone for a visit.  The death of the child was the
result of croup from which it was ill but a day or two.

Friends here of Mr. and Mrs. King, of Woodland, deeply sympathize with them in
the loss of their little daughter, “Emily” whose sad death occurred from
membraneous croup last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. King’s sister, Mrs. Mercer
at Baxley, Ga., at which place they were visiting.
