Paris, just beyond the southern limits of Reynolds was destroyed by fire at a late hour Saturday night. Carrie Mack, a negro woman who occupied the building and was alone and supposed to be asleep at the time of the fire, received burns that resulted in her death Sunday night. Her screams at the time of the fire attracted rescuers, who with difficulty rescued her from the burning building wither clothing burned almost from her body.
