She was born Sept. 1st 1834 and died Oct. 28th, 1908, aged 74 years, 1 month and 28 days. She leaves seven children to mourn her departure, three boys, J.T. and L.L. McGill, of Weatherford, Texas, J.R. McGill, of Sumner, Ga., Mrs. R.F. Bentford, of Flem, Mrs. Eliza Mott, of Weatherford, Texas, Mrs. J.M. Hearn and Mrs. J.B. Cartwright, of Tazewell, and Mrs. Joe Mackey, of Irma, Ga. She was laid to rest in Bloodworth cemetery Thursday morning about 10 o’clock. Mrs. McGill united with the Primitive Baptist church at Mt. Nebo, Taylor Co., Ga. shortly after the church was constituted and lived a consistent member until death.
