Died

We regret to record the death of Mrs. H. V. Montgomery, which sad event occurred
at her home near Howard on Saturday the 28th inst., after a painful illness. 
She leaves an affectionate husband and an innocent babe just 18 days old,
besides many friends and relatives to mourn her loss.  She was an estimable lady
and death brings sadness to her family and friends.



Additional Comments:
Savannah Watson Montgomery was the daughter of Perry Watson & Martha Hart.  She
was the first wife of Henry Vincent Montgomery.  After her death Montgomery
married her sister, Bethel Watson.

Savannah & Bethel Watson are my 3rd great-aunts. Their sister Mary Elizabeth
Watson, is my 2nd great-grandmother.
