K. Morgan, Aged Junction City Man Dies at Local Hospital Death occurred Tuesday at the hospital in Butler to Mr. Wm. K. Morgan, well known and greatly loved Talbot county citizen, pioneer resident of Junction City, a successful business man and planter for many years. He was 84 years of age. His death followed critical illness of several weeks. For a number of years Mr. Morgan was a member and deacon in the Junction City Baptist church. He was also a leading Mason in his community. Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife; four sons, J. C. and N. R. Morgan of Columbus; Jack Morgan, of Thomaston; Joseph E. Morgan of Memphis, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. H. E. Lumpkin and Misses Willie and Annie Morgan of Junction City; seven grandsons and five granddaughters. Funeral was conducted at 4 p.m. yesterday in the Junction City Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Hines and Rev. Sidney Gresham officiating. Internment in Junction City cemetery.
