The very unexpected death of Mr. Charley E. McCrary, occurred at 11 o’clock on 
Saturday night last at the residence of his brother, Mr. J.W. McCrary at 
Butler, after a short but painful illness of congestion of the brain.

Mr. Chas. McCrary died at his home in Butler on Sunday, after a brief illness 
of brain fever.  He was a young man, and his death is deeply regretted by 
numerous friends.
