Mrs. Mattie Marshall, wife of Mr. T.J. Marshall, a prominent citizen of Taylor 
County, quietly passed away Monday night, at her residence, after a painful 
illness of several months.  She was greatly beloved by a large host of friends, 
all of whom deeply sympathize with the afflicted family in their great 
bereavement.  The deceased  was a prey to both consumption and dropsy.  She 
leaves several small children, the youngest of whom are twin boys two months of 
age.
