Burial of Mr. William Neisler-Particulars of His Sudden Death
Butler, June 13.-Mr. William Neisler, whose death occurred at his home, six 
miles from this place, and was buried at Crowell's Church yesterday with Masonic 
honors.  There was, perhaps, the largest concourse of people present that has 
assembled on a like occasion in this section for many years.  The deceased was 
hiving a swarm of bees on last Thursday, which had pitched in the top of a peach 
tree, and while sawing off a limb he fell, striking across a fence, injuring him 
so severely as to cause his death at the time stated. 
Mr. Neisler was one of the most progressive farmers in this county, a true 
friend and neighbor, renowned for his piety and Christian walk, an affectionate 
husband and father.  A more useful citizen than he was does not live, and by 
economy and perseverance he had made a competency. He was a model man and Mason, 
having been a member of Fickling Lodge, No. 129, F. & A. M. for several years. A 
good man is gone and our entire people are in a state of sadness and gloom; Mr. 
Neisler leaves a wife, four children, two brothers and six sisters, who have the 
sympathy of a multitude of friends.

After the services the fraternity adjourned to the church, where J. T. Adams, W. 
M., who conducted the services, appointed Geo. J. Willis, Dr. R. M. Bryant and 
Rev. J. C. Griner to draft suitable resolutions on the sudden demise of this 
good man.
