Death of Len Waters

Mr. A.L. Waters after a painful illness of three weeks from typhoid dysentery, 
died at his home near Howard at 4 o’clock on Thursday June 4.  Mr. Waters was 
about 40 years of age, son of Mr. Frank Waters and one of the most useful and 
enterprising citizens of the county.  All that medical skill could devise was 
administered for his relief but without effect, and gradually sank until 
relieved of his earthly cares.  He leaves a devoted wife and five little 
children besides many friends and loved ones to mourn their loss.  The remains 
of Mr. Waters were buried at Howard on Friday morning surrounded by a large 
concourse of sorrowing friends.
