A SAD DEATH
Mrs. W.B. Barefield died at her home in Taylor county last Friday after a 
short illness.  She was 32 years of age, and a consistent member of the 
Baptist church.  She is survived by her husband and one child--a boy, nine 
years old.  Her remains were laid to rest at Salem church Saturday in the 
presence of a number of relatives and friends.  Mrs. Barfield was a daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. P.Z. Hill of this place.  The News extends sympathy to the 
bereaved ones.


Additional Comments:
Margaret Annie Hill was first born of P.Z. Hiil and Lucinda Maloney (Duncan) 
Hill b. April 14, 1868.  Married W.B. Barfield 21 Feb 1889 in Taylor Co. Ga.  
I have been unable to locate this particular Salem (Baptist, I presume) 
church.  If any one has knowledge of it's location I would appreciate hearing 
from you.
