L. Cooper, formerly Miss Annah Trussell, after a short but painful illness died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Olive Trussell, near Cooper’s mill at 12 o’clock on Saturday the 16th inst. She was an excellent Christian lady and a member of the Methodist Church. She leaves beside her husband two little children and many friends and relatives to mourn their loss. Her remains were interred at Union Church on Sunday last, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. L.W. Colson. Mrs. Cooper was 32 years of age.
