W. Ingram. His death occurred on the 19th of May 1910. He was a brave confederate soldier, an affectionate husband, a kind and loving father, but best of all he was a humble Christian. Brother Ingram was born in Taylor County, Georgia in April 1846, and was at the time of his death, sixty-four years of age. He was baptized into the fellowship of the Missionary Baptist Church at Reynolds, Ga. in 1886 and was ordained a deacon not long afterward. He remained an officer in the church during the entire remainder of life and died in the blissful hope of a home beyond the grave. He was a true Baptist, loyal to his denomination, forgiving toward his brethren, and a staunch defender of the faith. We can truly say that in the death of Brother Ingram the church has lost one of its best members and the neighbors an upright, honest citizen. We deeply regret his departure from among us and feel that his place will be hard to fill. Let us pledge to each other a firm determination to be more consecrated to the cause of our Master and so live that when one by one we are called to the great beyond, we shall die the death of the righteous, and that our last end shall be like his.
