Mr. Wisham’s friends and relatives were grieved to learn of the death which occurred on the 7th day of July; his wife had been dead just one year and two weeks when he was called to go. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and was a true Christian and loved by all who knew him. Mr. Wisham was 84 years old, born and reared in this county. Those who survive him are the children, J.D., W.E., J.F., E.T. Wisham of this county; Mrs. Gertrude Layfield, of Florida and Mrs. Kittie Langston of Alabama.
