Friends of Mrs. Fannie Williams will be pained to learn of her death, which 
occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D.L. Averett in the western part of 
the county Sunday December 17th.  She had lived a consecrated Christian life 
all her days and laid her burden down at the ripe old age of 73 years.  She was 
in ill health for a long while but her death was painless and sweet.  Her 
children were: Messrs. J.F. and W.A. Williams and Mrs. D.L. Averett who have 
the sympathy of friends.  Her remains were interred at Howard Monday December 
18, funeral service being conducted by her former pastor, Rev. A.H. Bazemore.
