Stella McKennon, colored wife of Mathew McKennon and daughter of Sonnie and 
Liny Hillman, died January 2, 1912.  Stella was reared by good parents, and 
being a good, faithful servant caused her to have a lot of white friends.  She 
was highly esteemed by those of her own color.
