It is reported that Elzie Brown, colored, shot to death Sunday afternoon near 
Rupert, in this county, Munch Hicks, another Negro, which Brown claims was done 
in self defense and which is said to be substantiated by strong circumstantial 
evidence.  No arrest had been made up to a late hour last night.
