Uncle Lewis Choice, colored, was found dead in the bed of a humble little home 
Wednesday morning.  He was about one hundred years old and a very worthy object 
of charity for several years.  He was never known to be other than a peaceable, 
law-abiding citizen, respectful to his superiors and was therefore well thought 
of by the whites generally.
